Excellence Cricket Academy – Terms and Conditions
By registering with Excellence Cricket Academy, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully before completing your registration.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in any of our programs, you agree to adhere to the rules and regulations outlined in this agreement. Excellence Cricket Academy reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and any changes will be posted on the website.
2. Media Consent – Photography
You acknowledge and consent to the use of your photographs and videos by Excellence Cricket Academy for advertisement purposes and performance tracking. These materials may be used in promotional content across various platforms, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed media. However, by enrolling, you agree that your photos and videos may be used for the academy’s advertising and performance monitoring purposes. We may also contact you occasionally regarding the latest news or courses on offer.
3. Waiver of Liability
You acknowledge and agree that participation in cricket training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury. Excellence Cricket Academy will not be held responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur during training, traveling to and from the academy, or participating in any academy-related activities. Participants are advised to seek appropriate insurance coverage for personal accidents and health. We also cannot be liable for any personal possessions that children bring to our courses or camps.
4. Registration Fees
You agree to pay a one-time registration fee of 100 AED, which includes the cost of the academy uniform. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation of enrollment or missed classes.
5. Payment Methods
You may pay via card, bank transfer, or cash. Registration is only guaranteed upon receipt of full payment prior to the start of the course. Late payments will incur a penalty fee determined by the academy.
6. Course Fees
The costs for the training courses are clearly identified in the course information and on our website.
7. Attendance and Discipline
Students are expected to attend all sessions of the program they have enrolled in. Consistent attendance is crucial for progress, and failure to attend may result in disciplinary action. Students must maintain respectful behavior towards coaches, staff, and fellow participants. Disruptive behavior, repeated tardiness, or misconduct may result in suspension or expulsion from the academy without any refund. Excellence Cricket Academy reserves the right to exclude any student without explanation if they are deemed disruptive or dangerous to others.
8. Session Structure
By enrolling, students agree to attend all sessions as part of the program. Schedules are pre-determined, and failure to attend does not grant any right to compensation or make-up sessions.
9. Weather Conditions and Cancellations
In the event of wet weather, 1:1 sessions will be rescheduled, while coaching sessions may continue based on alternative arrangements agreed upon between the academy and the venue. Please note that cancellations, refunds, or credit notes for wet weather days, particularly during summer camps, will not be provided.
10. Overseas Trip Cancellations
For overseas trips, programs may be canceled with more than 14 days’ notice, but all deposits are non-refundable. This includes pre-paid flights and a 30% cancellation fee of the full amount, which covers third-party processing fees.
11. Health and Fitness Requirements
Participants must ensure they are physically fit to participate in cricket activities. Any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or health issues that may affect the ability to perform in training must be disclosed before enrolling. Excellence Cricket Academy will not be liable for any injury or health-related issues that arise due to undisclosed conditions.
12. Modification of Programs
Excellence Cricket Academy reserves the right to modify training schedules, venues, coaching staff, and any other aspects of the program as necessary. Such changes may occur due to weather conditions, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances, and the academy will make reasonable efforts to notify participants in advance.
13. Government Restrictions and Cancellation Policy
In the event that a course cannot proceed due to legal restrictions imposed by the UAE Government on numbers or sporting activities, you will not be entitled to any refund.
14. Timings, Drop-off, and Collection
The timings of the courses are provided in your schedules. Early and late pick-up for cricket camps is available for an additional fee. Parents must sign players in and out. Late collection fees apply if a child is not collected within 15 minutes after the session ends, at a rate of 20 AED for every 30 minutes or part thereof.
15. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are non-transferable and must be used by the expiration date shown. Vouchers are subject to a fair usage policy and may not be used more than once. The academy reserves the right to void any vouchers donated for charitable purposes if misuse is suspected.
16. First Aid and Injury
Should an injury occur, the coaching staff will take appropriate action. However, Excellence Cricket Academy is not responsible for any medical costs or follow-up treatment.
17. Coaches
All of our coaches are appropriately qualified (including ICC Level 2/3/4 coaches) and are trained to monitor the safety of students.
18. Data Protection and Privacy
The personal data provided during registration will be used solely for academy administration purposes, such as tracking attendance and performance. Your data will not be shared with any third party. You agree that you can be contacted for any promotional or informational purposes. We will also update progress performance and other details via SMS, calls, WhatsApp, and social media platforms.
